I'm Jack Smith, a digital designer based in London.

I specialise in designing user interfaces for both the web and mobile applications. Creating brilliant digital products is what I'm truly passionate about, and there's nothing I enjoy more than achieving this through exciting, trustworthy, robust design.

I'm experienced in various parts of the design process — early stage research and product direction, prototyping and user testing, along with basic front-end development (html/sass + small amounts of javascript).

My design role history includes working for agencies, startups, and as a freelancer. Read on for more about how I work, and let me know if you're interested in working together.

Hiring and workflow details

What sort of projects are you after?

I normally favour working with early-stage startups on web and mobile apps. Fast paced prototyping, MVPs, etc, in particular. Also happy to help out agencies now and again.

What design software do you use?

Sketch, Chrome/Sublime, Photoshop, Flinto, Invision/Marvel.

Will you work on-site?

While I generally work remotely, I am available for meetings and some on-site contracts in London. May also be available for meetings or workshops elsewhere in the UK. Remote means a lot of work around Slack, Trello, Notion, GitHub, and Invision.

Are you looking for a full-time job?

Maybe later in the year. Feel free to contact me if you're neither a tiny or massive tech company.

What's your rate?

£400 a day.

Scoping new contracts for autumn 2018.
